The Readability Test

What is it ?
The Pharmaceutical companies give us the responsibility of making their Patient Information Leaflets easy to understand. The readability test makes sure that the patient is able to find the right information on the leaflet and understand it easily. The readability test is therefore not a memory test nor is it a test of general knowledge about medication.

Why ?
To be sure that the information provided on each leaflet is clear and legible. By participating in the readability test, you will help increasing public awareness of medicine and preventing misuse and you will receive a financial compensation of 20€ (by check or gift voucher) for taking part.

How ?
We will make an appointment with you according to your availability from Monday to Saturday from 8.00 am. to 8.00 pm. The test is conducted in 35-40 minutes at our office in St. Cloud (Paris).

How to find us ?
We will ask you about 15 questions to which the answers are to by found on the leaflet. These answers are to be easily found and understood clearly. Otherwise, our goal is not achieved and we will have to make changes to the leaflet in order to improve it.

For whom ?
Everyone can take part in a readability test.
We will pick the participants according to the medical product of the leaflet that is to be tested. For example, the leaflet of a product against Parkinson’s is tested on persons over the age of 50 (since the illness is rare before this age). However, the participants of the test will not have to be suffering from this disease.

Further information
Une compensation financière d’un montant de 20 € vous sera remise en chèque (ou en chèque cadeau) à la fin du test de lisibilité pour le temps que vous nous avez consacré.
